Announces the Opening of Application for 2011 Research Fund

 Criteria for Accepting Research Proposals

1. Conducted by health professionals in Bahrain.
2. Addresses common diseases or health care priorities in Bahrain.
3. The aim is to increase our understanding of common diseases, their etiology, diagnosis or therapeutic investigations.
4. Applicant should submit a structured research proposal.
5. The research proposal should be scientifically sound and ethically acceptable.
6. Approval of research should have been obtained from the Scientific and Ethical Committee at the Investigator's institution. 

The research proposals will be peer-reviewed to identify the high quality research projects for funding 1-4 research proposals yearly. The maximum amount of funding for any single research will be BD 2000.
